Not the brightest spark

A few days ago now, while I was at work. Someone came up to me with a copy of Dead or Alive Ultimate, he said he'd like to return it because the graphics aren't "smooth". OK so I wandered over to the till area and checked the discs to make sure they were in mint condition, while I was doing this, he looked up and said, "I only played the first disc, didn't even touch the second disc"...

Forza Motorsport down for May

Can't say I'm surprised at the month delay. Microsoft want to ensure this game hits the competition in one quick blow. For that it needs to be the best it can be. For those who don't know what Forza Motorsport is - it is the racing simulator. Some might compare it to Gran Turismo 4. But that's probably not a fair comparison, as it totally destroys Gran Turismo 4 - it's probably best to compare it to say Gran Turismo 9, of course if the series survives that long, actually you know what - I don't think PD could deliver all of this even if they took another 5 versions....

Take Two pick up Amped, Top Spin and Links

http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=57442 The Salt Lake City based development studio behind titles including Top Spin, Amped and Links has been sold to Take Two Interactive. Those were the best sport games on the Xbox!!! Now they're going to be reduced to PS2 garbage. Worst of all this all started falling apart because of the EA Live deal - which Microsoft should NEVER of made. Thanks a lot EA, I'll see you hang....

(NASDAQ: TTWO), is pleased to announce that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is making its way to the Xbox(R) video game system from Microsoft....

Lord Fargoth

As some of you know I run the Oblivion Portal a fan site dedicated to the game Oblivon, which is part of the Elder Scrolls series of role playing games developed by Bethesda Softworks. Well to start the story I think it's wise to go back to their previous game Morrowind. When you first started the game you found a ring in a barrel. This ring belonged to Fargoth, one of the first people you run into when you begin....

Humans and the Forerunner

Be advised this entry does contain Halo spoilers. You have been warned. I've lately been playing through Halo, again, and paid particular attention to 343 Guilty Spark, that annoying blue floating thing that dragged you through the Library, or more accurately known as the some what quirky caretaker, or "Monitor" in his words, of "installation 04" aka Halo. I'm sure so many players, myself included, simply dismissed Spark as being a completely insane AI that had lost it, the fact he seems bent on protocol, seems to think he knows us for some reason, always calls himself a genius and giggles like I don't know what would give most people the impression that he is totally nuts and should be ignored....
