I agree that is the most accurate explanation of the beginig of the Universe. However, that may be because i can't seem to find any other theories...could someone help me out?

I find it very interesting how proponents of the big bang, seemingly at will, change certain numerical values (i.e. the age of the universe) so the will fit within the parameters of an obsolete theory whose time has come and past. Theoretically speaking, I can use physics to develop a formula that shows without a shadow of a doubt that an elephant can dance on the head of pin, but in a physical reality, we know that this is an impossibility. The same goes for the big bang theory.
