These are wonderful graphics; computer gaming technology is, I think, one of the clearest indicators of the progress that has taken place over the past decade. The graphics of computer games have gone from cartoonish to almost photographically realistic in that time, and the size, scope, and complexity of computer games have increased dramatically as well.
The imagery in this game is impressive. In the 19th century, it would have taken a master painter months to create and equal a single snapshot like the ones you have shown here.
