btw, is that that huge square? never knew they had a name for it. I remember listening to some guy who was holding a bottle of olive oil and a clock, and I swear I had no idea what he was talking about got there to late I guess.
and are there ever like opposite speakers on issues like yelling at each other?

It's the north-east corner of Hyde Park. It's not really a square - there's a sorta rectangle of paths around the area, but it's very park-like - unless you walk over to the road. :P
I don't know if speakers yell at each other, I don't live in London so I'm not a regular ;) I don't imagine the regular speakers interact much in that way though.
The beauty of it is it's not a one sided conversation, it's more of a discussion.
After all Karl Marx, Engels and Lenin used to hang around there a lot, it's a good way to learn things you really get a feel for the people which you don't get with newspaper polls or whatever.
