Jupiter in my sights

Over the next few days I hope to bring the power of my 150mm reflector to bear. This was just taken through the 40mm finder scope - through a window - with a webcam - with the help of Catherine.

Indeed. :)
Jupiter's total mass is 317.9 times that of the Earth.
The Great Red Spot - a hurricane that has been raging for at least 400 years (since Galileo first observed it) has clouds that are estimated to be around 8km higher than the surrounding clouds and which could contain three Earth sized objects within it's boundaries.
